About Mark

Mark Naradoo is an Australian artist, creative consultant, educator and project lead with close to two decades of professional practice spanning visual art, commissioned work, tattooing, mentoring, cultural inquiry and independent creative business.

Formally trained in Visual Art and Design, with additional intensive study in sculpture, Mark’s practice has developed around a long-standing interest in image, identity, symbolism and human story.

Much of his professional career has been spent making commissioned work directly with people — listening, interpreting personal material, resolving visual ideas and creating work intended to hold meaning over time.

That experience now informs a broader practice encompassing visual art, cultural projects, creative direction, mentoring and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Current direction

Mark is increasingly interested in projects where individual stories contribute to wider cultural and shared experience — including public art, exhibitions, placemaking, cultural projects and major collaborative commissions.

He is particularly interested in the relationship between:
